WHERE ARE THESE PROJECTS? PART 1 Christopher Iyiola Omisore was the Senator representing Ife /Ijesha between 2003 and 2011. Between 2007 and 2011 Senate year, Omisore was the Chairman Senate Committee on Appropriation; a position that made him the most powerful senator of the Federal Republic at that time. As PDP candidate in August election, the question people have been asking Omisore is simple and direct; during his years at the senate, how did he impact on the lives of the people he represented through projects and programs. In his defense, Omisore Center (the body that coordinates his campaign activities) has come out with list of projects which they claimed the former senator initiated and brought for the development of our dear state. Parts of the projects are listed below for the digestion of the people; 2007-2011 Appropriation Acts; A. Water Infrastructures. 2010 Act- P125 & 864 1. Ede WaterHeads 2. Iloko Ijesa Water Supply/ Earth Dam 3. Olode water work 4. Ifewara water works 5. Iwo Water Supply 6. Ejigbo Water Supply (Total Allocated for 1 to 6 - N7.9B) 7. Ife Dam project 4 billion. My take; where are these projects and the billions allocated for them? Can we sincerely trust this man again?
