WHERE IS OKWIR RWABONI? I recall the phone call asking me to meet Okwir at Victoria Inn. I rushed there hoping to meet a giant guy but i was disappointed at first sight. I met a small & a short man to make matters worse the guy was full of jokes & laughter at critical time. that evening we were to address 3 institutions between 8-10PM we shsred a drink, did a brief planning and we stormed UCC Kabale as our first destination. Okwir was to speak first, followed by the students leader then i was the one to conclude by giving the mother of all speeches. The security had deployed guys to disrupt but we had mobilised for them. When Okwir took to the floor there was dead silence in the hall the guy gave a speech! after like ten min. tears were rolling down my cheek freely, girls were holding there hair, emotions were so high by the end of his speech students were asking us for guns to take on M7 militarily. Okwir gave a speech! i only remember trying to shield him from hugs of crying students
