WHERE IS OUR VOICE! The guys in the picture below are digging mind you digging a road! Many will say its a noble thing to do. Personally i wont dispute that as well. If there is no one to do it for us, then we gota do it. I have done it too at Olmekenyu. But then the level of lack of information within the county residents especially Our Kipsigis area is so appalling. Am talking about information in regards to how our taxes and development funds are allocated and used. Am sure 2% in a population of 50000 will take a walk to county offices and try to inquire about the whereabouts of this information. This is a cutting edge and in Narok south we cant afford to live in old ha doc times while our surrounding neighbors are moving swiftly ahead. EDUCATION standards are alarming, school drop outs is just boggling and still with FGM deeply rooted, am sure someone here can just say, let us all get up in arms and march to these county offices and throw someone out. These and many other issues make my heart sink so low and they are hot enough to boil our rage as residents. We are not going to beg for development people. WE RISE UP and grab it by force. WE the people should demand for roads, hospitals and schools. We do not beg. Put aside sycophancy and blind support of politicians, we need a paradigm shift and ask ourselves what have they done for us. Am not doing myself as some of you are about to say, but am sure someone here will realize the need to put aside our pride and work towards a trans formative leadership and sustainable development.
