WHERE IS YOUR COURAGE? – JOB 2:7 – 13 But he said to her, "You speak as one of the foolish women speaks. Shall we indeed accept good from God, and shall we not accept adversity?" In all this Job did not sin with his lips. (v.10 NKJV) Courage is not just the ability of being brave in the face of adversity, difficulty, danger or war but it is also the ability of holding on to the truth you have believed in the LORD GOD even when everything else fails you. For Job, everything had failed now, but his faith in GOD did not fail. It is disheartening to see the beloved partner (Job’s wife) failed him at the very critical moment, but thanks to GOD for the courageous Job. How many people or things have failed you? Where is your courage? Please be informed that the enemy called Satan (the devil) had gone out of the presence of the LORD since and he is looking for whom he will devour. It should not be new to you his different schemes. He does not need to approach you directly; he has several agents spread across the globe that he is using. Then I ask, “where is your courage?” Job’s wife gave in to the devil’s attack easily and she advised her hubby to do same and curse GOD and die. She did not know the issue is beyond curse and death; it is about another life in the kingdom of torture with the devil. To be away from GOD is to pitch a tent with the devil. He (the devil) is hell. Where is your courage in the word of life as it is preached in the Gospel of salvation? Where is your courage and trust in the LORD CHRIST? Do you know the truth about your situation? There is a friend whose encouragement is lasting. There is a friend whose comfort is consoling. There is help in the LORD of life. Let your courage rest solely on the help of GOD in Jesus. Ask for the mercy of GOD in any area you have failed to be courageous in HIM. If you had misled others, ask that the mercy of GOD sort such people out. Pray for strength now.
