WHERE WAS THE AFRICAN GOD? I was discussing religion on the other post and an issue came up about African Gods. One of our esteem commentator noted that, We Africans are arguing over foreign personalities like Muhammed and Jesus. In his view, we know more about foreign history than our own history and we careless. he noted that, if Africans had won the war with European and Arab, there wont be anything like Islam and Christianity in Africa. He concluded that, Islam and Christianity are nothing but foreign history. My question is as follows: 1. Was there no God in African before the European and Arabian influence? 2. How spiritual are these Gods 3. What where they looking when their adherent were being captured? 4. Are these Gods genuine? 5. If yes, what went wrong? 6. If no, does it mean Africans have been serving a wrong God for thousand of years before European and Arabian influence? Just question... Mr. rights
