WHITE WASH: The inclusion of adding some whites into the prison system is essential to preserving the image of a color blind criminal justice system, and maintaining Americas self image as a fair and unbiased people. Because most Americans, including those within law enforcement want to believe they are non racists, and the suffering in the alleged drug war does cross the color line...The notion that whites are harmed by the alleged drug war does not mean they are the real targets, or the designated enemy. The harm whites suffer in the alleged drug war is like what Iraqi civilians suffer in the U.S military raids targeting presumed terrorists or insurgents...In any war, collateral damage is inevitable.
