WHO BRAINWASHED THE KIKUYU TO BELIEVE THAT THEY ARE ALL RICH. I - TopicsExpress

WHO BRAINWASHED THE KIKUYU TO BELIEVE THAT THEY ARE ALL RICH. I am asking this because whenever you post anything to do with wealth or poverty in Kenya then they immediately jump in with comments advising you how to manage your life and stop renting their houses in Nairobi and stop being employed by them and start doing your own business and make money bla bla bla.Why do all Kikuyus believe they are all rich and who is this who brainwashed them into believing so? The number of rich Kikuyus is not even 10% of the whole population of Central Province. Do they know that Kenya is one country and other Kenyans too travel to central and have seen the poverty there? Do they know that other Kenyans in Nairobi and other cities have Kikuyu neighbours who are poor and are even employed by these people? Are they doing this just to satisfy themselves psychologically while they suffer inside just like any other Kenyan or what do they gain from it? Even a poor Kikuyu believes he is better off than a poor Kenyan from another part of the country. There is no difference between a poor Kikuyu and a poor Maasai or Luhyia or Luo, and statistics show that more than 60% of Kenyans are poor. It is always worse when a post on facebook talking about wealth and poverty in Kenya is posted by a Luo. They will condemn you left and right how you have brought problems and poverty to your life and how all people from Nyanza are poor because of this and that bla bla bla. They talk as if they also own Nyanza with all the farming land in it, as if they own Kisumu and all the towns in Nyanza with all the rented houses and property in them and the whole Nyanza. Do they honestly believe that it is only them who are rich and can be rich and no one else in Kenya can or should be? Does it mean that everything in Nairobi, businesses plus all the property belong to them and other people just come to use them and own nothing there?. I know so many non-Kikuyus who are rich and who are in middle class and who even employ Kikuyus. It is high time they changed the way they think because despite Kikuyus having the richest people in Kenya, who are very few, other Kenyans too are coming up and if this their nonsense continue then no one would even want to employ a Kikuyu one day if he ever owns a company.
