WHO DO YOU WORSHIP? I cant help but notice how many people are willing to follow, emulate, and idolize men. The social media train is full of post after post of quips, quotes, advice, acclamation, memes, and methods of how to experience life. I cant help but shake my head when I realize where we are getting our life advice these days. Why would anyone want to take advice from a victim of suicide? Why would anyone want to worship these spiritual train-wrecks? These pop stars, rock-stars, and athletes are some of the most miserable people on the planet. Why do we continue to look up to a person who dies living for themselves when we have the opportunity to follow and trust the only one who lived to die for me and you? WORSHIP GOD! Our lives can be full of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control if we will only step down and allow God to step in. There is no experience in the world like receiving the forgiveness of a loving God and knowing the blessings of eternal life in Christ Jesus. Before we can know Him we must realize that we need Him. ALL have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23) That all includes you my friend. These six things doth the LORD hate: yes, seven are an abomination unto him: 1. A proud look (Pride) 2. A lying tongue (Lying) 3. Hands that shed innocent blood (Murder) 4. An heart that devises wicked imaginations (Evil Heart) 5. Feet that be swift in running to mischief (Mischievousness) 6. A false witness that speaks lies (Lying) 7. He that sows discord among brethren. (Trouble Maker) (Proverbs 6:16-19) If you live a life according to the standards of this world around you, and most of us are; then you are living under the impending wrath of a thrice Holy God who promises that those who sin will surely die. The wages of sin is death! But the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23) When God looks down from heaven and sees the ways of man He is not pleased with the vile corrupt beings we have become: As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understands, there is none that seeks after God.They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that does good, no, not one. Their throat is an open grave; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips: Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness: Their feet are swift to shed blood: Destruction and misery are in their ways: And the way of peace have they not known: There is no fear of God before their eyes. (Romans 3:10-18) Please know that God loves you and offers you forgiveness. Not matter what youve done His offer stands. But God demonstrated His love towards us in that while we were yet sinners Christ Jesus died for us (Romans 5:8) All you have to do is Acknowledge your need for forgiveness, Believe that Jesus Christ came and died for your sins, and rose again from the dead. Confess your need for forgiveness and believe in your heart that God wants you to be His child. If you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus Christ, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead YOU WILL BE SAVED! (Romans 10:9-10) Anyone is eligible to receive Gods forgiveness and qualified to become a child of God if only they will call out to Him. For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. (Romans 10:13) Once we receive Gods forgiveness we find the peace that we were looking for in a world that could not give it to us. All you have to do is believe Him and receive Him. Therefore be justified (JUST IF ID never sinned) by faith (believing, trusting) we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 5:1) Get out of the world and get into Christ! There is now therefore no condemnation (damnation) to those who are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit (Romans 8:1) Please turn away from the world and its corruption and turn to the only hope you have. Stop looking to men for answers. Turn to God and Live! Repent and Call upon the name of the Lord! You will be saved!
