WHO IS AFRAID OF RADICAL CHANGE IN NIGERIA WHERE DISCIPLINE AT ALL - TopicsExpress

WHO IS AFRAID OF RADICAL CHANGE IN NIGERIA WHERE DISCIPLINE AT ALL LEVELS WILL BE THE WATCHWORD: If Mandella were to be a Nigerian, as at the time he became SA president, am sure many of us wud have condemned him for having stayed too long in prison hence he should have been totally disconnected to the socio-economic reality as at that time or he wud have been described too old to be the president of new SA. Do not forget that he came to lay the foundation for new SA. He came to make a statement that South Africans are capable of managing their own resource more efficiently. It is difficult to go below the set standard now in SA. That can hardly be said about Nigeria and Nigerians. Nigerians, when are we going to think uprightly. Service delivery at the presidential level does not have anything to do with age but POLITICAL WILL. We want a leader that will address the problem of corruption and by extension opens up more job opportunities for our unemployed youth, discourage political business as it has been and other vices that have relegated us as a big nation. Our new Nigeria started with the death of Abiola. The sins of the past, I mean those who never allowed our democracy to soar at a time had been forgiven with the death of Abiola and that ushered in new democratic setting in 1998. We are new creatures. Then we must device a means by which we must live together. Therefore, the rotating plan for president is a necessity now in our nascent democracy for balance and equity. With time, I can assure u, it will fizzle out. The idea of Federal Xter will also go and pave way for meritocracy. Only the best and the fit will take leadership positions. Let us not heat up the polity at the for our selfish reasons. For now, we have seen the best legs from PDP and if they have good ones elsewhere, let them come out to slug it out against these dummies. On the alternative, Nigerians should consider candidates from LP, APGA, NPC, APC, ACN, CPC or what have you. Let each contestants be evaluated on the the premises of his antecedent. We can compare and go for one that we are sure with him as the president, our nascent democracy will not drift and he will be honest to a fault. No one that will say there is rotation today bcus he is not in power and having grabbed the power, he claims another thing. Nigerians, shine your eyes.
