WHO IS GOD? GOD IS THE JUDGE OF LIVING AND DEAD! God the Creator and sustainer of life, the God of our salvation is also the Judge who will judge the living and the dead. Everyone will have to appear before the Court of God to account for his life. That day, the men will have to give an account of his words, deeds, omissions and even thoughts and desires. That great divine judgment hall, the books will be opened and large and small will be judged according to their works. It is clear that the criterion of merit or works no one can be acquitted in the Court of God. Therefore, another book is opened, the book of life. If one is not found in the book of life, that will be cast into the lake of fire. The only condition to have your name written in the book of life is to confess Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord of your life. Salvation, therefore, is not the result of the work we do for God, but the work that Christ accomplished for us on the cross of Calvary. You are now ready to meet God? Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. Psalms 37:5... For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. John 3:16-18 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? Matthew 16:24-26
