Cherryl Graham and I, supporters of Coffee 4 Craig in Manchester are appealing for donations of pairs of socks and chocolate bars to be distributed to homeless on the streets and in hostels in Carrickfergus, Belfast and Manchester. We want to do what this inspiring busking bobby from Birmingham does and have joined his Socks and Chocs scheme. Being blunt about it - there is no weekend provision for emergency housing help in Manchester and the situation only gets worse at Christmas when services shut down. Hostels and night shelters close.
