WHS BOYS SOCCER: The Varsity Boys Soccer Team played their season opener yesterday (Tuesday) against Cumberland Regional. They won 1-0. Eric Hepler was taken down near the goal and the team was awarded a penalty kick. Only seven minutes into the game, Geoff Schaefer stepped in and finished a nice penalty shot past the Cumberland keeper. Woodstown Keeper Tom Brady recorded 8 saves for the shutout win. The win improves the varsity record to 1-0. Our next game is our home opener on Friday vs. Glassboro.
