WHY AKALA DENNIED LADOJA TO BE RE-TURN AS OYO-STATE GOVERNOR. #Oyo Guber: Akala Denies Ladoja’s Alleged Endorsement# The alleged information by some suspected loyalists of Rashidi Ladoja of the Accord Party (AP) that the former Oyo State governor, who is also the National Leader of the party, had been endorsed by the Presidency to fly the governorship flag of the PDP in 2015 has been debunked. This denial was made by ‘Team Akala’, a support group for the return of the immediate past governor of the state, Adebayo Alao-Akala, as governor of the state in 2015. The group claimed that the information being reported by some newspapers and circulated on social media should be discountenanced , insisting that the information was far from what happened at the Abuja meetings. The information, according to the team’s Board of Trustees Chairman and the Coordinator, Kola Balogun, and Niran Adeyoju respectively, in a statement jointly signed, “is mischievous and a ploy to cause confusion among the party faithful in the state. “The malicious information being circulated by loyalists of Senator Ladoja is not true, the outcome of the two meetings held with the wife of President Jonathan and Senate President did not in any way indicate that the former governor should be picked as the party flag-bearer of the PDP”, the team stated. #ReturnAKALA2015 !
