WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?! As Consultants, we need to have a desperate why as to why we started this business. Financial Freedom is good but, in my opinion, a bit ambiguous. If you can attach your why to a person, whether the Lord, a spouse or family I believe it adds a level of serve-others passion that will drive and motivate us through rough times. Our mentor Ron Long realized that neither he nor his wife had any retirement and it occurred to him: what happens to her if Im not around? This desire to take care of his wife drove him to where hes at now: on the verge of becoming an Executive Consultant in less than 3 years!!! I realized the same thing in my case: I have Becky and my 3 sons...what happens to them if Im not here? For me, this drives me more than just the ambiguous financial freedom!
