Shotgun Ammunition – Slug Solicitation Number: HSBP1013R0078 Agency: Department of Homeland Security Office: Customs and Border Protection Location: Procurement Directorate – IN Solicitation Number: HSBP1013R0078 Notice Type: Presolicitation Synopsis: Added: Sep 18, 2013 10:57 am The Department of Homeland Security intends to issue an indefinite-delivery indefinite- quantity contract for 12 Gauge “Slug” shotgun ammunition for use by all agencies under their aegis. The solicitation will include both “Standard” and “Reduced Recoil” versions of the Slug ammunition. ). This Ammunition will at all Department of Homeland Security (DHS, or Department) component locations nationwide and outside the CONUS. Estimated quantities for both types of ammunition are approximately two million rounds per year. This notification is a “pre-solicitation notice” and incorporates a draft Statement of Work for the Reduced Recoil Slug Ammunition. The final solicitation package will be issued on a full and open competitive basis. The RFP shall be issued on/around 31 October 2013. The applicable NAICS code is 332992 with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees.
