================================== WHY I CELEBRATE EMPLOYEE POWER - TopicsExpress

================================== WHY I CELEBRATE EMPLOYEE POWER ... NOT LABOR DAY: ================================== WE —their most valuable asset—walk out of the door every day at 5pm. Unfortunately, many employers believe that their employees are replaceable and their ideas and technologies are unique. Its the opposite. Ideas and technologies can be copied, but our individual DNA which collectively becomes the company culture cannot. WAKE UP!!!! I was a corporate slave for 10 years, watching the same comedy routine by the CEO (who WE provided for his expensive suit and car) ... on his TownHall Meetings every month there was always A LOT OF CLAPPING and hey! even free food to keep the apes in line and blind to the truth ... IT WAS ALWAYS A VARIATION OF THE SAME SPEECH ... clapping, and then he would proceed to tell us that business was doing GREAT! New clients on the horizon, new company purchases (with our effort of course) and all honky dory right? ... ONE DAY someone that thought for himself asked ... hey! MAN TO MAN ... can you tell me when are we going to get a cost of living salary increase, which we havent had in 2 years? I think you could hear a pin drop in the space we were out ... SILENCE. He recovered quickly with a smirk tho, and proceeded to tell that Well, we are still recovering, it is a bad economy, and things arent going so well... A QUICK ROUND OF CLAPPING to silence any other person that could have realized he contradicted himself and we were told to HAVE FUN! Thats when I lost it and couldnt take it any longer ... FUN DOESNT PAY OUR BILLS, I said right to his greedy face...sadly he pocketed the cash he could and left the corporation a few weeks later so I could not continue my relationship with my new friend! THIS HAS BEEN AN SPECIAL LABOR DAY ANNOUNCEMENT FROM ENVIRALIZER. Freeing people from the Matrix daily! MyNewInternetLifestyle/escape-the-matrix
