WHY IS WORD PEACE SO ELUSIVE? The Bible points to two main reasons. FIRST, although humans have accoplished marvelous things, they are not created with the ability to direct their own steps. SECOND, human schemes have failed because " the whole word is lying in the power of the wicked one", SATAN THE DEVIL.thus, human efforts have not been able to bring world peace. JEREMIAH 10:23 I WELL KNOW, O JEHOVAH, THAT TO EARTHLING MAN HIS WAY DOES NOT BELONG. IT DOES NOT BELONG TO MAN WHO IS WALKING EVEN TO DIRECT HIS STEP. 1 JOHN 5:19 WE KNOW WE ORIGINATE WITH GOD, BUT THE WHOLE WORLD IS LYING IN THE POWER OF THE WICKED ONE. human Self-interest and ambition have also made world peace elusive. Only a world government that can teach people to love what is right and care for one another will bring world peace. ISAIAH 32:17 AND THE WORK OF THE TRUE RIGHTEOUSNESS MUST BECOME PEACE; AND THE SERVICE OF THE TRUE RIGHTEOUSNESS, QUIETNESS AND SECURITY TO TIME INDEFINITE. ISAIAH 48: 18,22 O IF ONLY YOU WOULD ACTUALLY PAY ATTENTION TO MY COMMANDMENTS! THEN YOUR PEACE WOULD BECOME JUST LIKE A RIVER, AND YOUR RIGHTEOUSNESS LIKE THE WAVES OF THE SEA. THERE IS NO PEACE, JEHOVAH HAS SAID, FOR THE WICHKE ONES.
