WHY, OH WHY , CANT SOME PEOPLE FOLLOW A SIMPLE , CLEAR, CONVERSATION ? My statement was that we live in a mortal body....we ONLY ever are given an incorruptible , pure body....one that cannot get sick, sin or die, when Jesus returns. This means three things. That while we are in this mortal body we WILL get sick, we WILL sin and we WILL die physically. Is that some monstrous distortion of scripture ? Is that not clear....is there anything in that statement that is not understandable ? To then RUSH in and accuse me of saying that Jesus NEVER healed anyone, during His ministry, that He died to heal ALL sicknesses now....while we are in this corruptible body...and then to call me a fool for not accepting correction......just shows me how little people know of what scripture actually says. We are NOT healed of sicknesses now. The last time you were sick tells you this. If we were healed of all sicknesses NOW then we would never get sick, we would never die......and God would be a liar. YES.... Jesus healed.......and yes, through Him we can lay hands on the sick and they WILL be healed....IF God wills it. The last time I looked, the greatest men of the bible ALL died......from sickness, accidents, murder. They are ALL dead....like we will ALL die.....from heart attacks, when our hearts wear out, from cancer.....the genes of which we ALL have in our bodies....theses are natural things...we are living in a MORTAL body....one that is able to die. Arrrrgggghhhh...................those who preach that Jesus died to heal us of ALL sicknesses now.......make Him out to be a total liar when we DO get sick. Well...I tell you...I am sick....heart sick, soul sick....sick and tired of this utter disregard for what God is actually telling us....NOT what we THINK He is saying. Adam brought SIN and DEATH into the world.......Jesus died to atone for our SIN...the sin we had committed up until we met Him...NOT any future sin we may commit.....and He NEVER said He went to the cross to atone for our sicknesses. Sickness is NOT part of atonement....natural sickness is NOT a sin. When Jesus returns ALL is made new....us, with our incorruptible, pure, sinless bodies and the heavens and the earth...ALL is made new....ALL is NOT new NOW. Sin and death are STILL in the world....anyone preaching that Jesus took away ALL our sin and sickness do NOT know Him, His character OR His Word. He told us to expect suffering in this world.......from everything......Job is a prime example. Would these same people tell us that we do NOT suffer...that everything is rosy ....that we are living a sinless, carefree, perfect life ...because Jesus went to the cross ? He went to the cross to atone for the SIN of the world ....so that we CAN resist the temptation to sin....NOT the temptation to get sick. Blessed are they who read, understand and rightly divide the Word of God ...so as NOT to preach falsely to the Brethren.
