WHY POLITICIANS ARE CORRUPT ?? “You will (must) enjoin the good, and you will (must) forbid the evil, or Allah will make sovereign over you the worst of you, who will afflict you with the worst of punishment, then the best of you will make Du’a and it will not be answered”. (Ibn Qayyim) Politics has now become the “society of corrupt people”. The reason behind that is because the nature of politics has been changed. Politics has now become a system of sucking the money from the masses & putting it in pockets of few. Or in short Politics is driven by the ideology of “Capitalism”. So, to complete this purpose, politicians suck the money of masses through variety of taxes, inflation, & through the partnership of Corporate or Capitalists which make both of them benefit each other & suffer the masses. Also, to cover their sins, they allways make people busy by inflicting fighting among them through their agents, making people fools through the media, focussing the public attention to the less important matters while neglecting the matters which expose their faults. But, on the other hand in Islam, Politics (Siyasah) is looking after the affairs of its people internally & externally. Justice of Islam can be observed by just viewing the rights of non - muslims (dhimmis) living in a Islamic State. Rasulullah (s.a.w.) said: “Beware, whoever oppresses a dhimmi or degrades him or demands from him more than he can bear or takes something from him without his happiness then I will defend that dhimmi on the day of judgement” (Sunan Abi Dawud, Hadith: 3502) Examples Of beauty of Islamic politics can be seen when: (1) Draught came at the time of 2nd Khalifah of Islam Hazrat Umar (r.a.), He vowed not to eat meat and not to drink milk. His skin became darkened because of this. When he was requested to take care of his health, he said, If I dont taste suffering, how can I know the sufferings of others? (2) When Salahuddin al-Ayyubi liberated Jerusalem on a Friday in 1187 CE, from the hands of the Crusaders. The Christians of the Islamic State fought alongside the Muslims to liberate Jerusalem from the Crusaders. Since, The Christians of the Islamic State witnessed the rule of the Crusaders & also witnessed the rule of Islam, & they sided with the best.
