WHY SUMANA FOR PRESIDENT. Many political analysts and observers have opined that leaders who have acquired local administative and political experience can make better leaders than those who claim to be renown diplomats and totaly ignorant of the local political intriques, erratic opposition and weak national institutions. Political parties like the Democrats and Republican in America, Labour and Conservative in the UK, ANC, Botswana ruling party to name but a few have one clear policy guiding their leadership selection- you must have acquired sufficient experience within the corridor of power before you stand to be nominated for presidency. You may even know more reasons why political parties do think and follow that policy but for the purposes of this discuss and the crucial cross road Sierra Leone stands for leadership succession, it is aboundantly clear that Chief Sumana has not only acquired that political credential, but he is experinced enough to maintain and build on the existing developmental structures. Any attempt to bring in a new comer would definate derail all gains made. The strength of a leader is not known in enjoyment but in adversity and difficulties so say King. Sumana has proven beyond all reasonable doubt that he can survive democratic oppostion and criticism. He has also maintain a high moral record by not involving in any corrupt act. He has manifested a high sense of nobility and honesty to the APC Party,it members and the rest of Sierra Leonean populace. He has served this country has the longest serving VP in our political history and therefore the best man with the right political acumen to steer the political boat to a happy shore. On the other hand, leaders who seems to be Mr. Know all always fail the people hence they are elected, the listen not to the populace or constitution and most times ferment more problem for their political parties. For instance, i will ask you if you know how formal President Kabbah left SLPP. Look at the uinque democracy in Guinea but dont ask me about their parliament or rule of law. Read about Montis in the recent political leadership change in Spain and you will definately agree with me that high diplomats cannot make better leaders always. Better political leadership comes from two major background nuture and nature. Chief has been nutured and therefore is divine leadership qualities have made him an acomplished leader fit to rule and move Sierra Leone forward. This is why i believe Chief Sam Sumana should be voted president come 2017
