WHY THE TRUE CHURCH OF CHRIST CANNOT BE CALLED IN ANY OTHER NAME? The true Church is the Church Of Christ and no one can claim that they are the one true Church if they are not Church Of Christ. Let us find out the reasons why. Because Christ is the founder and owner of the true Church: Matthew 16:18 NKJV “And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I WILL BUILD MY CHURCH, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.” (Emphasis mine) Because Christ is the head of the Church which is His body: Colossians 1:18 NKJV “And He is the head of the body, the church...” He is the Savior of His Church: Ephesians 5:23 TEV “For a husband has authority over his wife just as Christ has authority over the church; and Christ is himself the Savior of the church, his body.” Christ gave His life for His Church: Ephesians 5:25 TEV “Husbands, love your wives just as Christ loved the church and gave his life for it.” He purchased the Church Of Christ with His blood: Acts 20:28 Lamsa “Take heed therefore to yourselves and to all the flock, over which the Holy Spirit has appointed you overseers, to feed the church of Christ which he has purchased with his blood.” There is no salvation in any other: Acts 4:12 NKJV “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Thus, indeed the true Church cannot be called in any other name. Because Christ is the founded, owner, head, savior and no salvation in any other name, the true Church is called Church Of Christ.
