WHY WE MUST TESTIFY.. The lord Jesus after healing the mad man in the region of the gerasenes, the man from whom he cast out a LEGION of demons..when the young man wanted to follow him all about, Jesus suffered him not and said,, GO HOME to thy FRIENDS and tell them HOW GREAT THINGS the lord hath DONE for thee, and had had COMPASSION on thee..Mk 5; 19. Every miracle is the result of God expressed COMPASSION on men, saved or unsaved..his LOVE, his MERCY and his COMMITMENT to your well being in demonstration is what we refere to as COMPASSION...God wants us to TELL IT as much as we can, A...,GO HOME.. B...TELL YOUR FRIENDS.. They need to hear it at home more as well as in church and among friends, what things God has done...Why..Because TESTIMONIES are powerful tools in the Hands of the HOLY SPIRIT... POWER OF TESTIMONIES 1..IT BRINGS FAITH AND HOPE TO OTHERS IN SIMILLAR SITUATIONS A woman wh had sufferred many things of many physicians and was nothing betterred , sufferring from an ISSUE of blood that PLAGUED her life for 12 years had her story CHANGED for good...when she heard.... when she had heard of Jesus came in the press behind and touched his garment..and straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up...mk 5;27,29 Glory to God for those kind of brethren, the pharisees only talked of the faults they saw in Jesus, but the true believers broadcasted the glory of God in his life and ministry.. she heard..she heard..yes she heard of healings, miracles...not mere teachingd, what she heard gave her faith (rom 10; 17) to believe and receive the miracle she desired..., God wants you TESTIFYING, because people can HEAR your story and turn to the GOD and some times too the man whom GOD wotked through to get their own miracles.. 2...IT SHOWS OTHERS HOW TO OBTAIN SAME RESULTS. That womans testimony opened the eyes of many in Israel to know who to turn to and also HOW to take it CHEAPLY, listen to this, And besought him that they might only TOUCH the Helm of his Garment and as MANY as touched were made PERFECTLY WHOLE...Mt 14; 36.. Thank God she shared it, she didnt steal away with it, she shared it and msny came to know that only you had need of was to believe and because she shared they could also believe and receive theirs too.. thats how God wants it to be, he wants to use your story to show others how to deal witb their problems and all of hell easily ...YOU MUST TESTIFY 3...TESTIMONIES IS A WAY OF GIVING GLORY TO GOD.. Are there not found any that returned to GIVE GLORY to God, saved this one(and he was a samaritan)..lk 17: When we testify, we actually are RETURNING the glory to God,We are letting him know that he is our acknowledged doer of it all, plus we are telling others God did it..we always tedtify with gratefulness and thankfulness.. 4..THEY MOTIVATE YOU TO BELIEVE AND PRODUCE FRESH TESTIMONIES.. One of the easiest ways to PSYCHE yourself up to face fresh satanic onslaughts, challenges and problems...Is to RECALL and RECITE your previous VICTORIES..O boy, it jump starts your faith and gets you HIGH on GOD.. Thy servant kept his fathers sheep and a lion came ....a bear came,...thy servant KILLED both the LION and the BEAR and this UNCIRCUMCISED PHILISTINE shall be as one of them 1 sam 17; 34-36(paraphrased). The more he rehearsed it, the cheaper and easier Goliath appeared for him and his GOD, When you face fresh FINANCIAL NEEDS, HEALTH situations or whatever.., you need never be TROUBLED, Call to mind the testimonies of your PREVIOUS VICTORIES and you would have destroyed the FOUNDATIONS upon which the new ones were standing.. 5..TOOLS FOR WINNING OTHERS TO CHRIST... When Jesus met the woman at the well of Samaria...asked for a drink, asked after her husband and she said..I have no HUSBAND, he simply said to her..thou has had five husbands and the one you now live with is not your husband the lady left her waterpot there and went and told the men of the city.., come see a man that told me all things I hsve ever done, is this not the christ...Jn 4.. The bible says they believed on him because of the words of tbe womaan... Go to your friends, go to your family...BLAST it, TRUMPET it...Satan will raise some ENVIOUS and JEALOUS pharisees but MANY will turn to the lord because of your TESTIMONIES...From this day, GOD shall be giving you BIG, FRESH, MIGHTY new miracles and testimonies to SHARE, For he wants you blessed snd he wants to use your testimonies to draw others to himselg.., HALLELUJAH...
