WHY WE SHOULD BE CELEBRATING By Nigel B. Linton So in trying to make sense of yesterdays events, I went to the only source I know which would give me clarity. I had a one to with Jesus. This is what he told me. Before Dominica was, I was. Before Roosevelt Skerrit was, I was. Before Lennox Linton was I was. Know that Im God and I do not make mistakes. Everything I do is in divine order. He said, why are focusing on the loss and not the plus? Dont you know there is victory in defeat? Take your telescope from Skerrit and point it to Lennox Linton and Team Dominica who are the Davids among giants. He continued. While you wanted change now, I want change later. Think positioning. Positioning is what Im doing. I have made Lennox a watchman in the affairs of Dominica. Because of his presence, Skerrit will be uncomfortable around him. Skerrit has to now look at him and in some instances answer to him. Moreover, while there he will be in training for the position of Prime Minister. Further, the rest of the team will be on training but more importantly they will be observers. I have big plans for Dominica and no man or devil can prevent me because Im God. Then I said what about the prayer warriors? He said they did what they had to and because of them, plans are in motion. They stood in the gap for Dominica spiritually. They fight the good fight of faith and they to should rejoice at the results. I said But God at the end of the day, most of the people are not happy. UWP supporters are not happy. He said, why arent they? You people of little faith. Leave them for they have much soul searching to do. They turned their backs on me. I did not turn my backs on them. Like the Israelites, they will go into the wilderness for a period and during which, I will stretch my hands to them. Moving forward..Roosevelt Skerrit is on top of the world. He is a tall tree which needs pruning. A tree which needs to be chopped to size. I have already started the chopping process. Think Ambrose George once a Pilar in the Labour Party. He is gone. Think Julius Timothy another key factor for the DLP gone. Who did I replace them with? Now take a good look at the DLP and tell me it is stronger than it was one two days ago? Who would you consider to be a Pilar? Blackmore? Nope! Roosevelt Skerrit of course. Powerful but in comparison to the people around him, he stands alone and he is weaker which makes it easier to topple him over. Now take a good look at the UWP. Do you see its strength? Hasnt it gotten stronger? Half of the team is in Parliament. The other half- the seats which they won handsomely but were stolen are evidence which suggest that the party is stronger than it was two days ago. And Thompson Fontaine? Dr. Fontain is a man after my own heart. He is blessed. I will pour out a blessing upon him. Let me assure you, theres nothing to be sad about. My words do not return to me void. Know that nothing is impossible for me for Im God and it is impossible for me not to do anything. Go tell your Dominican true patriots and UWPites that,I know their hearts. Tell them I saw their honesty. Tell them their healing will come in time. Wait on me. Tell them I have not forgotten them neither have I turned my back on them for Im only one prayer away.
