WHY WON’T HE MAKE A MOVE! I sat on that park bench waiting, hoping, wishing and this idiot gets up, and leaves, he never even asked my name, he just leaves and heads on his long journey back to his military base. I thought to myself he knows it, he feels it, and yet “WHY WON’T HE MAKE A MOVE”! WE met once and knew it was something there, it just has been taking him the past 37 years to finally admit he felt it then too”. The old woman share as her husband hides his face in shame. Great conversation, with an older couple, who shared their love story. Short version: he saw who he wanted, knew she was a good thing and went after her. So not how she remembered it..lol As we sat in a park in Bronx, NY., he explained to me something my godfather, Rich, has taught me growing up. If a man wants something, nothing will get in his way, he will do whatever needed to get it, and work even harder to maintain it. And 37 years, and 4 kids later, there are no complaints from this soldier’s wife. Talking to this couple made me realize, something so simple as making a move, can be used in love and life. I have sat back and watched guys/girls take forever to admit it was love at 1st sight, I have seen opportunities and jobs pass by people because, a move was never made. Public Relations tip #3 JUST MAKE A MOVE ALREADY! If you see something you want go after it, and work hard to win it over and keep it! If it turns out not to be what you thought, than that’s okay. I rather live my life being daring and making mistakes, than one day looking up and realizing I once had that chance and I never took it. One thing I teach my girls is to “LIVE LIFE WITH NO REGRETS” Every decision you make helps to form the man/woman you will are or will become, it will ultimately set the foundation on which you use to mold your kids. Just be sure to make every move a responsible move and never live saying, I should’ve, could’ve, would’ve. Now Back to your regular scheduled Facebook program!
