WIDOWS & ORPHANS MATTER TO GOD “I am a widow of 10 months and arrived in Texas where my husband and I have always spent winters. Yesterday I went to our weekly community coffee, saw all our “COUPLE FRIENDS” and went home with a HEAVY HEART. Then a beautiful CHRISTMAS SONG sent me into a big DOWNWARD SPIRAL. I just COULDNT QUIT CRYING ... Christmas was OUR favorite time of the year. Then, out of nowhere, I received A CALL from one of my BEST FRIENDS from Iowa. It was JUST WHAT I NEEDED to pull me out of the funk. I told her God must have nudged her to call because hearing her voice was SO HEALING. Thank you, God. For instance, You are not to mistreat any widow or orphan.” (Ex. 22:22) Especially during this Christmas season, IS THERE SOMEONE you can reach out to, like Donna, who has lost a loving spouse, or has no father?
