March 11, 2014 CHOICE: YOUR GREATEST ASSET II You are the product of your decisions, be it those taken for you by your parents or the ones taken by you. Though God made everything, He gave man choice. Thats why He said Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me (Rev 3:20). The choice of whether or not to let Him in is yours and not His as He will not tamper with your free will. Our going to Heaven or Hell is our choice thats why God has given us the power to decide. The bible advices against giving the devil a foothold in your life (Ephesians 4:27). This means that the place the devil has in your life was given to him by no one else but you. People do not make decisions without counsel. It is therefore important that before you take counsel from anyone, you look at how far their decisions have worked out for them. Counsel forms the basis of our decisions. Whose counsel have you based your decisions on and how well has it worked for you? The life of every man is in three phases; M- morning, A- afternoon, N- night (MAN). The decisions you make at any phase of your life affects the next phase. There are very important decisions each one of us must make in our lifetime. One of such decisions is whom we will serve. Gen 24:58 Then they called Rebekah and said to her, “Will you go with this man?” And she said, “I will go.”. My question to you today is Will you go with this man called Jesus? Will you allow Him influence your decisions and take the wheels of your life? If you have made the decision to follow Jesus then say this prayer with conviction: Lord Jesus, I come to You today in acknowledgement of the price You have paid for me. I believe You died on the cross for me and rose again. I make a new commitment to walk with you all the way, till the end of my days. Help me oh Lord to be able to live a life worthy of the vocation wherein I have been called in Jesus name. Amen. CONFESSION: the Holy Spirit helps me know what do. I am making right choices! Prayer: The Holy Spirit will guide all my decisions in Jesus name.
