WINNING EACH DAY DEVOTIONAL 2 Cor 2:14 And thanks be to God who ALWAYS causes us to triumph… June 5, 2014 SPEAKING THE BLESSING James 3:5 (MSG) “A word out of your mouth may seem of no account, but it can accomplish nearly anything—or destroy it! It only takes a spark, remember, to set off a forest fire.” God says a single word from your mouth can accomplish things. When you say that you are blessed, that word will start conditioning you and if you dwell on it and keep saying it, you will wake up one day and discover that you’ve been so blessed and there’s nothing the devil would be able do about it. We don’t talk cheap. To be blessed is to be empowered to succeed. Each time you say you are blessed, you are saying that you are empowered to succeed. It doesn’t matter the contradictions in your life, family, career, job, finances, marriage and relationship. When you wake up each morning, say: “I am blessed in the city and in the field. It doesn’t matter where I show up. I am blessed. The blessing is on me”. It is not your geographical location that determines if you are blessed or not. You define your geographical location (Genesis 26:12). Keep saying: “I am blessed”, until all your neighbours, friends and colleagues begin to envy you. Don’t stop saying it until you see the tangibility. Stop talking yourself down and start saying the right words. Use words to your advantage. Stop saying: “Well, fingers are not equal. Everybody can’t be great in life”. Say instead: “I am part of those that will be great. I’ll be the first in the line because I am blessed”. Remember, inside every Word of God is the power to fulfill it. Stop defining your life by the circumstances around you. The Blessing is your true identity. CONFESSION: The blessing is on me. I am empowered to succeed. Supernatural provision is mine. PRAYER: Father, you are a maker. Make me exceedingly great, Lord. FURTHER STUDY: Genesis 26:12, James 3:6.
