WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY now posted for all of Western Mass, and into southern VT. The WINTER STORM WATCH has been cancelled. This for 2-4 inches of snow (highest amounts to the north and in highest elevations) starting just before dusk tomorrow, and lasting through the evening, changing to sleet, and then a prolonged period of freezing rain. Ice glaze accretion could be up to a quarter-inch on everything. Travel will go down hill QUICKLY tomorrow evening, as the snow will stick immediately given our frigid temps as of late. If you are out and about tomorrow night, bring resources with you to help you get unstuck, should you start slipping and sliding. Not a blizzard, but a few inches of snow on very cold ground, with ice on top is not a recipe for endless fun, joy, and mirth.
