WISDOM Day 23 Whos getting the glory? Proverbs 23:4 NIV 4 Do not wear yourself out to get rich; have the wisdom to show restraint So many of us get caught up in the things of this world. Whether its the right job, good money, the right house, the right woman or man, great kids...in actuality, these are ALL gifts from God. However, we can easily fall into the trap of putting the creation before the Creator. I was one who was caught up in stuff...these things actually blocked my view of God. I really didnt appreciate the things God gave me. I became the great I am thinking it was all about me, instead of thanking the real I Am who gave it all to me. God stood back and allowed me to do me. I eventually lost everything because of my choices. Only then did I realize that all that time I was spitting on Gods blessings.Through taking my story and giving God the glory, I eventually started getting everything back. Yet, there are still things in my life that are still going through a healing process. Now I use WISDOM and DISCERNMENT by bringing those things to God. In the end, Im powerless. Any power I have is what God gave me for His glory...because of Him, I have a story. WHO IS FIRST IN YOUR LIFE...THE CREATION OR THE CREATOR? WHO IS THE GREAT I AM IN YOUR LIFE...YOU OR GOD? THINK OF YOUR STORY...WHOS GETTING THE GLORY?
