WITH LOVE LIAM.. By buckeyemomof2 “With Love, Liam” Three simple words in an email that have the power to change the B&B landscape… Good Friday, my Bold and Beautiful friends!! Hoping you all had a fabulous week and enjoyed today’s fashion show. It is so nice to see B&B actually incorporating the fashion industry into this fictional show about a major fashion house. The gowns and jewelry were beautiful and classy, a huge improvement to the last fashion show we saw. However, most of the drama surrounded the acquisition and exhibition of that one “magical” stone and the pending revelation of one little video. Admittedly, I find the “Romancing the Stone” fairy tale absurd and overdone. The fairy tale overtures, the dreamy eyed princess batting her eyes at the tall, dark and handsome prince, it’s all every Disney Channel and not in the least soapy. Let’s face it, it’s pretty silly; however, if this is what we have to endure to move the show forward and help our show escape the land of pixie dust, rainbows and unicorns, so be it. Count me as all in. Our resident prince, Wyatt, continued to be the odd man out today. He gazed longingly at Hope on the runway clad in the magical gem, all the while pining for his fair princess. Meanwhile, backstage his mother discovered what will likely be the game-changer in his pursuit of the unobtainable prize, the video created by Liam for his wife and emailed to her with the simple message: “With love, Liam”. I personally don’t think the mere existence of the video will be what sends our princess running into the waiting arms (and bed) of Wyatt. Liam could explain away creating it as trying to smooth over his mistake in sending her the video of Hope in error and trying to keep the annulment on track. What will ultimately implode Lope’s relationship will be those three little words that speak volumes. Hope will finally have to face what we all know and what Quinn saw flipping through the video; Liam Spencer loves his wife. She wasn’t an obligation or an obstacle, she was a woman he did then and still does love. Like you, I am hesitant, but dare we dream we are at the precipice of the final demise of the worst and most excruciatingly love triangle in soap history? I am hopeful, no pun intended. Mr. Bell and his team have gone to great pains during Ms. Wood’s break to utilize the time to give Hope fans a new man they deem worthy of their fair maiden. A simple review of soap message boards and Twitter will tell you the combination of Wyatt and Hope is a resounding success. They have chemistry and many Hope fans are ready and willing to let Lope go. Once the new couple has been sufficiently established, Mr. Bell can descend Liam into a period of deep depression, self-flection, realization and regret. Only then can he be redeemed and eventually take his place groveling at the feet of returning B&B heroine, Steffy Forrester. It will take some time for him to convince her she is indeed his true love. We will watch, we will wait, we will forgive Liam (I know you all say you hate him, you’re kidding yourselves, just admit it) and we will once again fall in love with soap’s greatest budding super couple. It is inevitable; a return of Jacqueline MacInnes Wood will mean a return to Steam. Do you hear that faint sound in the distance, friends? Engineer Moll is preparing the Steam train to once again resume its journey after a stint in the engine repair shed. Get your tickets while you can, they will go fast. All aboard!!!!
