WONDERFUL event at Temple Israel in Sharon, MA.!!! :) Tomorrow: Islamic Center of New England! Obviously both sides in the Israel - Palestine context have their views with whats happening and in this context, we tend to forget that there are MANY MANY on the other side whose hearts are inclined towards peace and harmony. Even for those whose hearts are not so inclined, it is obligatory on those of us who claim to be people of peace to go forward and spread peace even if war is raging around us. Quran 8:61 - And if they incline to peace, then incline to it [also] and rely upon Allah. Indeed, it is He who is the Hearing, the Knowing. Special shout out to the beloveds of Rabbi Menachem Froman (if you dont know who he is, do your soul a favour and look him up) who attended, colleagues of my brother Nachum Pachenick: Yaakov Jacob Komisar and my sister, DeDe Jacobs Komisar.
