WOOHOO! It’s Saturday! Let’s make some money? Ever get stuck on HOW to start writing your next sales letter, e-mail, follow-up message, or whatever it is youre working on and have it be interactive and FUN for your prospects? Let’s talk about that shall we? Here’s a few techniques you can use to get your creative juices flowing on your next writing piece, which will of course capture and captivate your prospects and close more SALES or more SIGNUPS! Technique #1: Tell a story! People LOVE stories, especially the stories they can empathize with. So what does this mean for you? Well, if you know your target audience, you know how you can relate to them. Tell a story that’s easily relatable, and bridge the gap into your pitch. You’ll hold their interest. Technique #2: Ask a question! Picking the right question is key – the best ones are ones which can make the reader curious & makes them want to read further, or are important and relevant to them today. Technique #3: Find your prospects biggest PROBLEM and state it! You’ll not only narrow down the people who would be truly interested in your product, but you’ll also capture their attention because they want to know HOW to solve their biggest problem. Technique #4: Make it personal! Your prospects understand that they’re on a list with thousands of others, so it’s hard for something to feel truly personal. So flatter them, make them feel special, and don’t use a gimmicky technique like “I chose YOU out of 1000’s!”, but instead use something like, “I chose only my most LOYAL subscribers to show this to, the ones who open my e-mails the most, and you’re one of them!” Technique #5: Be provocative! Startle your readers, but don’t offend. You’ll capture their attention immediately, and depending on the subject matter, they’ll definitely want to read on and find out why you’re using such a provocative message. Your goal is to raise their curiosity. Well, there’s 5 techniques to get your writing going, I hope this was of some help you. You can apply these techniques to any writing youre doing, they are very versatile. Let me know if you use any of these or have used them in the past, I’d love to hear it! Till next time, have a greeeaaat weekend everyone!
