The first plant including the corn and other crops are shifting from vegetative to reproductive stage. That’s what this crescent moon indicates. It also encompasses all other life forms including animals, insects, birds and even humans. The corn cobs begin to show, the fruits develop, the new birds’ feathers are close to full growth, the wool on sheep is beginning to grow large again. For the plants, the seeds begin to grow. The monsoon rain continues to provide moisture in this growth cycle. With the moisture, the plants will once again provide food, medicine and healing for the people. Toward the end of this moon cycle, some are harvested and prepared for later use. Meanwhile, in the cornfields, ears of corn, squash and melons bud. People are happy and continue to take good care of these buds and fruits to continue growing. Seeing them renews happiness and hope. Naturally, people continue helping each other and kinship relations among The People are strengthened once again.)
