WORD FOR TODAY KINGDOM LIVING 1 PETER 3:8–9 8 Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous: 9 Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing. WORD FOR TODAY “LOVE IN ACTION” The Amplified Bible says in verse 8, “. . . sympathizing [with one another], loving [each other] as brethren [of one household], compassionate and courteous (tenderhearted and humble).” This is the God-kind of love in action. God’s love never fails! Therefore, if you are walking in His divine love, you can’t fail. If you are walking in the God-kind of love, His love working in and through you will be more than enough for any situation. The God-kind of love will put you over in life because God is love. And walking in love is profitable—not just in this life, but also in the life to come!
