Community Facilitator - Kyaikhto Office - 2 posiitons Closing Date: 26 June, 2013 Contract: One Year (Extendable contract) Ask Jeff for application form ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Job Description – Community Facilitator Major Responsibilities -Participate in the program PME in annual, quarterly and monthly reviewing and planning process. -Under the supervision of Assistant Program Area Manager (APAM) and with the help of Technicians, develop own monthly activity plans including budget estimation based on the quarterly plan developed by the program team. -Developed report on own monthly planned activities accomplished, giving a good critical and creative discussions on the process and the results of the activities. -To facilitate the capacity building of Village Development Committee (VDC) and Community Based Organization (CBO) on community organizing. -To support VDC and CBO on planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of their own sustainable action plan. -To facilitate the identification of VDC and CBO’s roles and responsibilities, vision, mission, annual plan and annual review. -With the help of technicians, develop monitoring tools to monitor own planned activities and the progress of the activities of the community volunteers. -Follow- up activities to the community volunteers especially in their self-assessment process. -Encourage inter-village cooperation and collaboration in implementation of project activities. -Develop linkages between local authorities, departments, other organizations and agencies. -Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor. Qualification -Any Graduate with at least one year experience in Development work and NGO field are required. -Good knowledge of Myanmar and English; able to have good communication skills. -Preferably, able to speak local language(s) in Mon state and experience in Integrated Community Development, Malaria intervention. -Good working knowledge of photo taking and skill on computer. -Willingness to travel and work in difficult settings. -Able to plan and manage a variety of activities, setting appropriate priorities. -Able to work as a self-motivated team member. -Able to work gracefully under pressure. -Good in Health and pleasant personality.
