WORSHIP SONG for MONDAY - Even though losing with class is a virtue, everyone likes to win and everyone loves a winner. As a Follower of Jesus there is a value in knowing how to lose with grace and humility but there is also a great value in knowing that God calls us MORE than conquerors through Jesus Christ. He calls us to humility and tells us that pride goes before a fall but HE also tells us to live for HIM with the goal of running the race, fighting the fight and winning for HIS glory. Like David against Goliath, we must trust in the Lord of Hosts! Like Moses staring down Pharaoh, we must remember Who empowers us and like Jesus doing battle with satan in the wilderness we must only worship the LORD our GOD! The Bible reminds me that greater is the ONE in you than the one in the world and it also promises that I can do all things through Christ Who gives me strength! And today I also claim that with God all things are possible! Choose to be a victor and not a victim! Dont do well under the circumstances but live the life of a soldier enduring hardness and claiming the promises of Almighty God. We are MORE than conquerors through HIM Who loves us and our strength is not in the power of men but in the power of God! Lets be in it to WIN it for HIS glory!
