WORSHIP SONG for MONDAY – As recorded in the four Gospels of the New Testament portion of the Bible, Jesus told HIS Followers that we have the privilege of reflecting HIS Light to a lost and dark world. But the truth of the matter is that none of us have Light of our own and if we did, compared to the Light of God, ours wouldn’t be worth shining. We’re called to reflect His Light and it is our honor to do so. Jesus said that Light is meant to be out in the open where it will do the most good. He said that it would be a waste to have a beautiful light and then put it under a basket because in order for Light to be useful, it must be visible and not hidden. Our lives as His Followers are the same – we need to keep ourselves clean of sin and able to reflect Him clearly. How the world needs us to fulfill the will of God, to glow for Him so that they might experience His Light. To speak for Him so they might hear His Word. And to work for Him so they might experience the blessing of a good God. Shine, Reflect, and Glow for JESUS because it’s His Light that needs to be seen, His love that needs to be shared and His power that will touch the lives of others. So instead of cursing the darkness...GO GLOW!
