WORSHIP SONG for THURSDAY - Life is so filled with things that just arent real! We have imitations of all kinds, counterfeits and so many things that are phoney. Foods that arent really FOOD, synthetic materials that only imitate the real stuff, people that are less than honest, inferior substitutions in so many areas of life and worst of all, phony religions that claim to give people ways to God that will never get them there. Now of course, everything that is synthetic or imitation isnt wrong as long as their is honestly in the description but there are some things that are phony that are much more serious, religion being one of them. So many major belief systems are based on falsehoods, traditions of men, social and cultural observances and pseudo intellectual conclusions and they will get the participant nowhere with God. God offers the world something far better, something REAL. Something that will cause favor with a righteous God and something that will cause change within the human heart. Its real, it works, its available to all and its JESUS! So many people, places and things claim it but only HE is the REAL thing! Only Christ can bring the lifechange we need and only HE can provide the salvation that we seek. Many claim it but only HE is the REAL thing! The Bible tells us that Jesus is the One Mediator between God and man and that there is no other name under heaven that can save us. Jesus Himself declared it Himself when He said, I am the Way, the Truth and the Life and no one comes to the Father except through Me. Imitations abound but Christ is the REAL thing! Fake and phony are all around us but JESUS is the REAL thing! Dont settle for a counterfeit when the REAL thing is available to you. Its JESUS and HE is the REAL thing!
