WOW! Another shining example of why we are leaving Logan City and Kaeppners Woods. Here is a statement that should clear some things up.... Although many of the facts and reasons are true in Mr. Qs statements there is another MAJOR contributing factor as to why we are leaving Kaeppners Woods. Our event has outgrown the facilities that Kaeppners Woods was able to provide. Our event eclipsed the number of people who could comfortably camp and have access to water (Kaeppners wells ran dry at RW2K12 and RW2K13). We are also EXTREMELY displeased at the fact that William Kaeppner passed on a private conversation between Mr. Q and himself to the Logan Daily to be used in this article. Between Williams indescretion, the amazing growth of Rootwire, the law enforcement targeting of the event, and the biased reporting from The Logan Daily, we have no choice but to find a better and more welcoming place to host RW2K14 and its amazing community of friends and family. We wish nothing but the best for Logan City, Hocking County, and their future endeavors in bringing revenue to the Hocking Hills Region. We thank you all for your continued love and support during this transitional period... Onward and Upward!!
