WOW! I have been having phone battery trouble for months. It doesnt seem to hold a charge. I figured I needed a new battery or something. No matter what I did, short of keeping it in airplane mode, Id drain the battery at least twice a day. Then I did something out of character - I uninstalled facebook and its messenger app. (haha) My battery is perfect again. It was 60% when I took it off the charger....six hours ago. It still is. By now, I would have drained the 60% at least once if I hadnt uninstalled the app. And believe me, I *thought* I was shutting down fbook on my phone on a regular basis (it wasnt showing up in the active apps list). I uninstalled the facebook apps due to something I saw a friend post, about its permissions regarding your phone contacts, ability to post or make calls without your knowledge, etc (no, this wasnt one of those scare tactic hoax posts, which I laugh about, it was an actual screenshot of his phone). I just felt like that was waaaaay too much power for an app to wield. Im glad I did. Now I dont have to always be on the lookout for a power source.
