WOW….. What a Fantastic show on this Poster From The Past for today! It was 47 years ago on this day back in 1967, Big Brother and the Holding Company, Pink Floyd, and Richie Havens, began three nights of dance/concerts at The Fillmore Auditorium and the Winterland Arena. Due to visa entanglements, I am unsure if Pink Floyd were actually able to make this gig. The central image on this poster is three long haired, robed figures beneath the vaults of an old Gothic cathedral. The artist of this poster is the very talented (and former wife of Bill Graham) Bonnie MacLean. Once again, she demonstrates her vast talent by creating three very distinctive and beautiful faces that she is so well known for creating. This is BG Fillmore poster number #91 and is the second of the three consecutive Pink Floyd posters in this series. It was printed only once. More Floyd to Share with a friend!
