WOW. What a powerful weekend! The retreat in prison was one of the best Ive done yet in the ten years Ive been doing these. Men start out unsure and even skeptical, but then at the end they are joyful, grateful and full of hope and promise. It was a Spirit-filled, blessed two days. I made 70 new friends. God is Good. The highlight for me is: God placed a Native man at my table. He is a repeat offender who is rough and tough, and had been a leader. But he wanted to change. I shared the Gospel with him and led him in a prayer. He broke down crying and said he felt the love of God. After that he changed and became peaceful both on the outside and (evidently) on the inside. God can do great things through Charles.
