WOW what a week! Here is the run-down and a huge list of thank yous to the amazing people in our lives, especially to those that own and love progeny either bred by us or sired by our boys - thank you for including us in your success! Pics from all events to follow... I think I have these in right order: 1. Huge congratulations to Jerri Cody, Em and their beautiful boy Prince aka Raven Lodge Charmed, sired by Raven Lodge Born Brave, for their results at the NSW Arabian State Titles. Em and Prince took home Reserve Champion Show Hunter Galloway with a fantastic workout, 2nd Novice Rider, 3rd in Open Rider, and 4th in Partbred Arabian Galloway - woohoo! 2. Then on Wednesday we welcomed our first Blau baby for the season, foaling at the very decent hour of 6.30pm our beautiful mare Raven Lodge Born To Shine foaled her third bub by Blau Commander Cohen a stunning Buckskin Tobiano Filly. This little girl is a full sibling to our 2013 gelding we have kept, we absolutely love this cross and will be looking for an extra special home for this girl. 3. Thank you Philippa from HFR Performance Horses for your support and professionalism - Philippa is the fabulous AI tech behind the scenes and a big part of our team in 2014 :) 4. More woohoos follow as we celebrate with Lisa Hocking, Natasha and Emma aka Raven Lodge Aura, sired by Raven Lodge Born Brave, on a fabulous team effort Reserve Champions Intermediate Novice at 2014 Peter Horobin Saddlery Australian Interschool Equestrian Championships - keep an eye on these 2 superstars! >>>At this point I will jump in with a super special woohoo for Sue Neven Raven Lodge who is responsible for breeding incredible ponies, we can only hope that our dreams can be realised through the beautiful ponies she has brought into this world! 4. From NSW to Victoria and now across to Perth... the woohoos continue at the Perth Royal with Heidi Kemp and her beautiful palomino tobiano Lolly aka Krystelle Park Made You Look, sired by Windsong Celtic Clansman. Lolly went 1st Pinto Filly & Reserve Champion Pinto Filly/Mare - prepped and shown by Matthew Mego. 5. On with it we go... Saturday morning aghghghghghghg our super special mare (words cannot describe what she means to us) Bloss aka Ponte DOro, sired by Durbridge, is confirmed in foal to Windsong Celtic Clansman - our first confirmed pregnancy of the season and hopefully a keeper for us in 2015. Thank you Alex and Simon from Golden Plains Equine! 6. The gentle giant Mars, pally gelding clydie x sired by Blau Commander Cohen, bred, owned and very much loved by Deb Chapman and the whole family, attended his first ever clinic; Allan Collett horsemanship clinic at Mt Wallace Equestrian Centre. All reports are he was fabulous and took everything in his stride, and had to make up for missed naps by dozing at every moment possible :) 7. Back up to northern Vic to the Culcairn show where Brooke Chiken Seymour and her newly broken boy Lennie aka Spins In Low Place, sired by Blau Commander Cohen, brought home 3rd Smartest on Parade, 2nd Ridden Mount, 2nd Rider, 3rd Mount Most Suitable and 1st Led!! Plus add on to that 1st Male and Champion Led Buckskin - woohoo Brooke and Lennie!! >>>Somewhere in the middle of all this Al finished up her job with Dow Chemical (much more emotional than either of us thought it would be) this explains the delay in all our woohoos 8. What more could be better on a Sunday morning (after a BIG Saturday night) than to share the sunshine and cuddles with your amazing ponies with awesome pony people... thank you Maxene Robinson - Als morning mum :0 - Stacie Robinson, sister Yas and the incredible Tahlia for visiting, you are all welcome anytime!! 9. Welcome to the first Windsong Celtic Clansman baby of the season this morning, Nancy Lewis Canterbury Park has bred some amazing ponies by Celt and this beautiful black tobiano filly looks to be no exception - huge congrats Nancy!! 10.
