WOw! Its been over ten days since I posted any art. Been sooo busy. Its possible Ill regret it, but I decided to accept the Cobblestone gig as they added half a month to the deadline for me! So Ive been trying to get the current book art all finished up, working at the part time job and slowly getting started with the cobblestone research. Here are a couple of rough color samples for the book. The cobblestone images have to do with civil rights personalities which has been interesting research so far. Ive found historical images are a bazillion times harder to create because there is often little photo references to go on. For example the other day i spent time trying to figure out what kind of bus Anna Pauline Murray was riding when she refused to stand for a white person and had no luck finding any reference for Charles Kenzie Steeles House. Not to mention Ill have to depict four specific people with very little photo reference to go on. FUN FUN!!!!!
