WQAD news did a longer broadcast earlier tonight. One neighbor reports that she heard two shots fired. Another neighbor witnessed that the dog jumped up on the neighbors back in a playful way. Officer Jesse Hill spun around to deal with the dog, pulled his weapon and begun firing at the dog. The neighbor assumed that he fired once when fell down but he wasnt entirely positive that it happened. He elaborated and said that it happened too quickly so it could also be that two shots were fired as he fell. He said that the officer tripped. According to a press statement given by DCI, he was treated for a dog bite then he was released.
