WRITE TREASURE DEVOTIONAL Written by Christian Okeke IN CHRIST JESUS! Christianity is not a life of dos and don’ts’s, it is all about what we have become. It is not a transformed, reformed or a renovated life. Christianity is all about an exchanged life. God took away our lives and gave us His. Simply put, Christianity means, men living the life of God on this earth. We are the replica of Jesus. This is why we are new creations. A christian is a new kind of specie: a specie that has never existed before. This is why the bible says that we henceforth know no man after the flesh. A Christian is not the physical body that you see, he is a spirit being. Every child of God is born of the Spirit of God, hence we are all spirits. Your success and victory in life lies on your understanding of who you are. As a Christian, you are more than what you can think with your natural mind. The Spirit of God is in you. You have the wisdom of God. You have been blessed with all spiritual blessings, because you are in Christ. God for His own sake(not your works) has made you righteous, and all that you can ever need in life are available in your spirit. What you need to do is to pray for spiritual understanding. Let God open the eyes of your heart to so that you can know what God has given to you in Christ. This is because until you discover who you are, your cant function as you ought to. This is the reason why I personally believe that its not proper to preach a list of dos and donts to a christian. Tell him who he is, and he will act according to what he has seen concerning himself. Finally, discover your real identity. Dont struggle to do anything. When you discover who you are, the doing will be a spontaneous consequence of your knowledge. It will flow naturally. Thats the reason why the Bible says, Out of your belly shall flow... The secret of success is not in doings,’ it is in the knowing. After you have known, the doing becomes easy. The reason why many Christian are struggling with the actions(doings) is; they dont spend time to know or become. According to a Personal Leadership expert, Mute Efe, The secret of Success is Success. Very simple! The first principle of success is to know that God created you a SUCCESS. Until you discover that you are a success (irrespective of your feelings), failure becomes inevitable. YOU are a SUCCESS, and dont forget also that the secret of success is success.
