WRITINGS ON THE WALL: When “the most lively thought is inferior to the dullest sensation…” Medical study reports that Autism is an epidemic in Corporate America and practically absent in Family Italy. Knowing that an infant brain is a “tabula rasa” or likened to a “blank tablet” which necessarily requires algorithmic encoding or, that is, basic interactive orientation for it to acquire the tools to understand, assimilate and operate to behave as it grows into the crafty world at large, do we still need groping and guessing around posh psychology what happens to a child left alone facing a blank wall at home by busy working parents ?... ironically, parents swear by heaven and earth that they are mostly, if not only, working for their kids… what a witting or unwitting way to kid oneself… tragic ! – ncl 10/1014
