WRPPA Fishing Contest Results June 22nd, 2014 What a wonderful day with a great number of kids and families who turned out. 65 young anglers ages 1-14 Certificate and trophy awards are given for the top 3 largest catches as well as strangest catch, smallest fish, and most fish. (*Note: To spread the wealth fisherman are only eligible to receive one award, which explains the discrepancy in the smallest fish category.) Largest fish: 22” musky (Braiden B.) Smallest fish*: several minnows; 5” small mouth (Kristin J.) Strangest catch (hey, this is the river): 6’ piece of wire Certificate Winners: Strangest catch: Hunter R. (age 12)- 6’ wire Most fish: Azleigh K. (age 3) – bucket of minnows Smallest fish*: Tarren H. (age 9)- 8” rock bass Trophy Division Winners: Mini Anglers (ages 0-6) 1st- Braiden B. (22” musky) 2nd- Mistie T. (14” small mouth) 3rd- William B. (11” small mouth) 7-14 Division 1st- Brooklynn H. (2- 14” small mouth) 2nd- Kristin J. (14” small mouth) 3rd- Alaina K.
