The Great Lakes Bay Region will probably get 1-2 inches of snow, maybe 3 in the southern sections, as a storm moves across Southern Michigan. Saginaw County is under an Advisory The National Weather Service extends the Advisory area east into Tuscola and Sanilac Counties and South West including Clinton, Ingham, Ionia, Eaton, Barry, and Allegan. All other Southern Counties under a Warning through this afternoon, that includes Genesee, Shiawassee, Lapeer... with the heaviest snow south of I-69... maybe 5-7 inches. As much as 8-9 in Metro-Detroit. The rate of snowfall could be 1-2 per hour through the morning. Gusty winds will reduce visibility and cause blowing and drifting.
