WTA vs ATP technique comparison is a red herring. Men are far stronger, having more fist twitch fiber than women. This is a crucial factor in the differences in their technique. Females use the trapezius in their backhand and men generally do not. Also, a lighter racquet will force a longer swing in females than men. The contact point for females is determined by the maximum moment of power using the trapezius. This is a very different contact point than when not using the trapezius. Comparing the two is just as misleading as comparing how men and women think.
